When you buy into the Hilton Grand Vacations Club, you purchase a home resort, but you also are able to visit the other HGVC resorts as HGVC is a points-based timeshare system, which means maximum flexibility. In addition to exchanging into other HGVC locations, owners can use their points to trade with RCI or they can be used in the HHonors program which opens up the entire chain of Hilton hotels for use by HGVC owners. So if you want to visit cities where timeshares aren’t available or are uncommon, you’ll still be able to make use of your Hilton points.
